Field Of Heroes

For one of our field trips for home school, we went to see all of the flags that were posted for the Field of Heroes. It was really amazing to see so many flags. They talked about people who immigrated to America. That means people who came from a different country back in the old days. It was a great experience because we have someone in our family who immigrated from Australia - our Hunny. Chloe and I also belong to a book club called Liberty Girls, and we read one of the books that talked about a little girl from Sweden who immigrated to America. So this was really important. I really want to do it again next year. America is a really special county for me because it is a country of freedom, and I am really thankful that we have the Statue of Liberty because it is a really good reminder that we have liberty.
